The Homelessness Project: who we are

In addition to our dedicated staff of 11, THP is supported by a committed Board of Directors, the Friends of THP, and our housing partners. Together, we’re making a difference in the lives of single parent homeless families throughout King County.

THP offers 44 units of subsidized housing to single parent homeless families in crisis.  Our housing units are provided by church partners and affordable housing communities.  In addition to housing, THP provides families with benefit assistance and emotional support as they stabilize their lives and pursue work or educational opportunities.

The Homelessness Project is a program of the Church Council of Greater Seattle, a 501(c) (3) non-profit agency.  THP does not advocate for religious beliefs or practices, nor does it restrict program participation on the basis of religious beliefs.
