The Connection Remains:

Sometimes, even after a client graduates from The Homelessness Project (THP), a special bond continues to connect the family to their THP case manager.  This is a testament to the strength of the relationship that forms over many months of guidance, support and assistance. 

One THP case manager keeps in touch with the imprisoned son of a former client, providing him with one of his few links to the outside world.  We were touched by a letter she received from him the other day, “Everyone else in my life has moved on.  I can’t blame them, but it still hurts.  But you are different, you take time to understand me.  Sometimes I don’t even understand myself.”
