THP Funding
The Homelessness Project’s annual budget is $668,757.
Approximately half of our funding comes from federal, county and city government. The other half comes from individuals, organizations, foundations, businesses and special events. In 2005, The Homelessness Project raised nearly $100,000 at our fall benefit dinner and auction.
With this strong community support, The Homelessness Project has grown from 32 units of housing for homeless families in 2003 to 44 units in 2005. This year, we will add another four units of housing. Despite our growth, there remains a still greater need: for every family we’re able to help, we must turn away six other eligible families.
With your help, we can continue to provide more homeless families with the chance to rebuild their lives and succeed.
Thank you for your support.
